Special glazes

These glazes are totally different to common glazes due to their features and the effects they produce.

Cadmium-Selenium glazes

The Cd-Se glazes are one of the most unique and remarkable products of the ceramic world. CCT is proud to be pioneer in developing, manufacturing and leading the world’s market of this kind of glazes. Our experience of more than 40 years grants it.

The series contains a variety of intense and bright colours that allow varied lattice surface touches by adjusting or combining different applications.

These glazes can be  used with temperatures between 950ºC-1080ºC in traditional double firing, 1140ºC-1230ºC in single fast firing and 1190ºC-1200ºC in porcelain stone ware.

Their formulation in micronized powder allows a quick preparation by dispersion

Metallic glazes

Metallic glazes have the capacity of reflecting light which enable a peculiar and distinguishing brightness depending on the light influencing on them. Their reflecting touch simulates a metallic surface maintaining intact the advantages of resistance, strength and neatness typical of ceramic surfaces. They are spectacularly elegant emphasized by their artistic and decorating connotation.

Several tonalities are available which are obtained using temperatures between 1040ºC-1060ºC in traditional double-firing, 1125ºC-1160ºC quick single firing and 1240ºC-1280ºC in sanitary-ware.

Their micronized powder formulation allows a quick preparation by dispersion.
